Deepak Chauhan holds a degree in Hotel Management and comes from a family that runs a small catering business in Delhi. Growing up, he was always involved in helping his family during events, which gave him practical experience in operations and customer service. After completing his studies, he worked in the hospitality industry for a couple of years, mainly in hotel operations.
While the job gave him experience, the long working hours and limited growth made him rethink his career. He wanted a role that offered stability and better long-term opportunities. A friend who had recently transitioned to an IT career advised Deepak to look into SAP, particularly given his expertise in business processes and operations.
After researching various institutes, Deepak chose FITA Academy‘s SAP training institute in Delhi for its focus on practical learning and structured course content. During the training, he found the sessions very interactive and easy to follow, even though he came from a non-technical background. The trainers explained concepts with real-time examples, which helped him understand how SAP works in real business scenarios.
The small batch size made a big difference, as he was able to get individual attention and clear his doubts comfortably. The regular practice sessions and case studies helped him gradually build confidence in the subject.
He also found the resume support and interview guidance extremely helpful. The mock interviews gave him a clear understanding of how to approach questions and present his skills effectively.
After completing the course, Deepak attended a few interviews and secured a role as an SAP MM Associate in a mid-sized company. Today, he is happy with his career transition and feels confident about his future growth in the field.
