Sathish Kumar worked as a supervisor in a small manufacturing business in Villupuram. He had a background in mechanical engineering. He had a safe job, but he felt like he couldn’t grow or get paid more. As he watched how AI was changing different fields, he understood that automation and AI tools would shape the future, even in manufacturing. Because he was interested, he decided to move into the tech area.
Sathish was hesitant at first because he didn’t know much about code. But after looking into a few different training centers, he decided to join the Generative AI Course in Villupuram at FITA Academy because it had a structured curriculum, hands-on training, and dedicated placement help. He learned Python, data structures, and the basics of AI through school. Later, he moved on to more advanced topics like real-time deployment, prompt engineering, LLMs, RAG systems, and automation strategies.
Sathish slowly gained confidence by working on real projects and practicing all the time, with help from experts in the field. The placement team helped him prepare for real interviews, improve his resume, and give a good presentation of his project portfolio. This help was very important in helping him change jobs successfully.
Sathish is now a Junior Generative AI Engineer at a tech company that is growing. He works on making automation solutions that use AI. He thanks FITA Academy for helping him find the right path, so that he could go from not having an IT background to a high-growth AI job.
